About this artist. He was born in Santa Monica, California and raised in Sacramento. Inspired by the Sacramento Valley and the Mother lode since 1990, he began his early work using oil on canvas. After a few years of art instruction at the Yuba College and after trying many different mediums he returned to oil painting landscapes as his final specialty. His work was comprised mainly of lush green visions of Placerville, farmlands of the Sacramento Valley and Norther California. He has won awards in art shows in Davis and the Sacrament valley and has been commissioned numerous times to render his style of direct impressionisium.  In 2002 he moved to Palomino Valley, north east of Reno only to be taken in by the shear beauty of the northern Nevada and he hasn’t been the same since. The color and breath of the high desert is his calling.  He's mission is simple. To show the awe and beauty of Northern Nevada in a way that is not apparent to the casual scenic viewer. To bring the color and form of Nevada into a palatable rendering that is both exciting and attractive.
